Not exactly sweater weather here in San Diego, but it will be in Rome come Fall! This song Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood is absolutely addicting and makes me excited to wear all of my new (and old) sweaters abroad!

Oh...Ahhh.... |
Sweaters are so so awesome because (duh...) they are super warm, great for layering, and work well in cooler european temps. The sweaters I chose were in my same color scheme (if you haven't notices already I love blues/yellows/neutrals) and don't take up too much space in my suitcase.
In my practice runs packing, it is so so so essential to ROLL your sweaters up. Like a space bag, rolling them squishes out all of the air. If you roll them up with a dryer sheet in between the layers they will stay smelling fresh out of the dryer!

Clockwise from right:
- Lululemon Knit Million-ways Cardigan :: This was from two seasons ago at Lulu and I LOVE it. This is a pretty thick sweater that has thumb holes (love those) and an adjustable drawstring in the back to make it shorter/longer... you can ever wear it upside down. Ohhh the possibilities...
- H&M Mint oversized Sweater :: Again, another purchase from Italian H&M. This thing was my saving grace when I did not have any luggage. Its definitely oversized but SO WARM and comfy.
Wearing my sweater through at the Uffizi Galley in Florence Huge, but worth it for the warmth... - Gap Sweater :: Black/White
- Gap Sweater :: Grey/Yellow I thought I should talk about both of these together because I bought both of them on Clearance.
Yeah, I know - Anthropologie Milla Pullover :: Not the warmest of sweaters, but I love that the back is a different fabric. If you click over to the link, you can see the patterned panel on the back. So pwetty :)
My other summer project besides preparing for this trip is trying to resell some clothes that my mom and I got rid of. Today and yesterday I spent the whole day organizing/making outfits/ labeling/ photographing and marketing 'pre-loved' clothes for sale to help pay for my abroad trip. Only two days in and I have sold $35 worth of stuff! Everything helps! Between now and leaving, I am going to try to babysit/work/make as much mulah as possible so I can afford any souvenir my little heart desires. Or maybe just pay for food. Food is good....
Let the packing adventures continue!
Ciao!
Devotissimo Suo,
M
